The image most often used to illustrate the system is that of the mobile: all parts of the system are connected; Everything that happens somewhere affects and changes all other parts.<\/p>\n

The special thing about the systemic approach is that it is always about interaction processes. One does not assume linear cause-effect relationships (if A, then B), but rather considers the entire system in which the thing to be examined (be it a person, a couple relationship, a problem...) is embedded. Everything that has some kind of influence is a factor that needs to be taken into account when it comes to clarifying and resolving an issue. This can include other people or observable actions and life circumstances, but also ideas, wishes and needs of all kinds. The aim is to identify the dynamics that prevail in the system and to pay particular attention to feedback (if B influences A, then how does A influence B?).<\/p>\n

The central idea in systemic theory is that people construct the reality of their lives through the way they relate to each other. Every mental and emotional state in which we find ourselves is the result of interaction and communication with others and with ourselves. We can even relate to our own thoughts and feelings in very different ways, which of course in turn affects our world of thoughts and feelings in a very specific way.<\/p>\n
In this respect, the systemic approach is not only ideal for counseling couples, families and teams (which on the surface already form a system), but also proves to be extremely fruitful in therapeutic and advisory work with individuals.<\/p>\n

In Germany, systemic therapy is officially one of four scientifically recognized psychotherapy procedures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Regular coverage of the costs of systemic therapy by statutory health insurance companies is also in sight.
